About these colouring pages

Hearts are among the easiest shapes to colour and the most useful: they turn into cards, bookmarks, garlands and presents. This hub has six heart colouring pages, from a big plain heart outline to a heart filled with a mandala pattern.

The classic heart, the heart balloon and the stack of three hearts are simple and suit children of about three to six. The heart full of flowers and the heart pierced by an arrow are medium difficulty, for ages six to nine. The mandala heart has fine symmetrical patterns and is better for ages eight and up, including adults who like detailed work.

Hearts are mostly linked to Valentine's Day on 14 February, but they are just as useful for Mother's Day, birthdays and thank-you cards. Colour a page, cut it out and write a message on the back. Red and pink are the obvious choices, though purple, orange and blue hearts look good together. Every page prints on A4 or US Letter and is free for use at home, in nurseries and in the classroom. The artwork was made with an AI image model and checked by us before it went on the site.
