About these colouring pages

Gingerbread houses are a British and European Christmas habit as much as an American one: a baked house, glued together with icing and covered in sweets, usually built over a weekend in December. These six colouring pages let children design one on paper first, or simply enjoy colouring the finished result.

The set runs from a plain cottage and a basic outline, both easy enough for ages three to six, through a house with sweets and a house under falling snow, to a tall gingerbread castle and a row of three connected houses. The castle and the village are the most detailed and suit ages eight and up. The outline page has few details on purpose, so a child can add their own icing and sweets.

Brown, cream and red are the obvious colours, but nothing says a gingerbread house cannot have a blue roof. If you plan to bake one, colour a page first and use it as your plan. Every page prints on A4 or US Letter and is free for use at home, in nurseries and in the classroom. The artwork was made with an AI image model and checked by us before it went on the site.
