Stocking Coloring Pages

Each stocking coloring page shows a Christmas stocking ready for Santa: hung by the fireplace, stuffed with candy canes, toys and treats, or decorated with snowflakes, stripes and patterns. Kids can add their own name across the cuff to make it theirs.

Simple stockings are easy for preschoolers to color and cut out; they can glue cotton onto the cuff or draw what they hope to find inside. Older kids can work on the patterned designs and fireplace scenes. In December, hang finished stockings on a string across a classroom wall or on each child's bedroom door. The tradition is linked to the legend of St. Nicholas, who was said to drop gold coins into stockings left to dry by the fire.

Every page prints on US Letter or A4 paper and is free for home and classroom use.
